Parks and Recreation 1- Custodial Worker Fulltime $7.89 per hour Opens: August 26,2010 Closes: September 9,2010 Job Summary: The employee performs basic custodial duties as assigned; cleans, sanitizes and restocks restrooms, dusts furniture, sweeps and mops floors, vacumms carpets and removes trash. May clean windows and other glass areas. May assist with grounds maintenance activities and performs other duties as assigned. Other Characteristics: Some experience in cleaning of commercial facilities preferred. Ability to work nonstandard hours and weekends when needed. Possess a valid Alabama driver's license. Must meet City of Enterprise physical standards which include drug and alcohol testing. Public Works 1- Fleet Maintenance Supervisor Fulltime $15.56 per hour Opens: 5/27/2010 Closes: Open till filled Job Summary: Develops policies and plans for fleet maintenance department; Organizes fleet maintenance department; Carries out staffing and human resource management activities; Coordinates fleet maintenance department operation and administration; Performs controlling and reporting functions; Follows safety procedures; Performs related services. Other Characteristics: Possession of a high school diploma or equilvalent, 10 years of experience in automotive and heavy equipment mechanic work, and at least 3 years of supervisory experience preferred; however, any combination of education and experience , which provides the necessary qualifications listed above will be considered. Possess a valid Alabama driver's license. Possess Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement, or possess the ability to become certified within a required time period. Must meet the City of Enterprise physical standards which include drug and alcohol testing.
